Use fixed-position navigation so your users can navigate your site with ease. This means locking the navigation panel when a person scrolls down a single page. Your website should be easy to scan. Tests have shown that the majority of online readers avoid reading everything on a page; instead, they just scan it for information that is of importance to them. Break your page into various sections using specialized or emphasized text, such as bold or italics. Put important facts near the top of the page. When visitors are able to locate what they are looking for, they will be happier.
Do not overuse JavaScript. It provides many ways to develop an interactive experience for your audience, but it can also stop some visitors from accessing your content at all. All web browsers vary, and each one releases new versions on a regular basis. Not all visitors have the most current version of their browser. Also, consider that JavaScript isn’t regularly enabled in everyone’s browser. If they aren’t using either or these options, then they will not be able to view your site.
Publish a newsletter, to increase your likelihood of having repeat visitors. When you allow people to receive notifications about special events, discounts or updates, they are more likely to visit your site multiple times. You can incorporate a form in the sidebar of the site and track users that sign up. Only send the newsletter to those who request it, or you could find yourself in hot water.
Try researching keywords. You do need to create great content, but it should be focused on bringing in new visitors. To ensure your site is successful, do your keyword research.
